A special thank you to Emily Harney, the 2015 Dallas County Fair Queen, for her guidance this past year. ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————– Congratulations to the 2015 Dallas County Fair Queen: Emily Harney. Pictured on the left is Princess Katelyn Wilderdyke and on the right is Queen Emily Harney. My name is Emily Harney. I’m 18 years old and a 2015 Dallas Center Grimes high school graduate. Currently I am working at Signarama as a Client Account Specialist; interacting with clients & designing logos. I will continue my education at DMACC to major in Graphic Design & minor in business/marketing.

I’ve always loved a busy schedule and getting involved. Especially in high school, I was always on the move!

You would find me in the show ring with pigs for FFA, at IT Olympics, in Hyperstream, dancing in show choir, singing varsity choir, representing my class through student council as President, cheer for football & basketball, snapping pictures for the yearbook, designing the yearbook, attending Josten’s leadership conferences, or behind the camera at pep rallies and other events. Outside of school, I volunteer & sing at my church.

Representing Dallas County as your 2015 Dallas County Fair Queen is more than a blessing, it is an honor. Dallas County is such a wonderful place to be and I am looking forward to what the year brings. Thank you so much to everyone on the fair board & of course Sally! I had such a wonderful time!

I’m anxious to dive into more activities & meeting more of Dallas County’s wonderful people. See you at the 2015 Iowa State Fair!

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————– Congratulations to the 2014 Dallas County Fair Queen: Kelsie Stahly. My name is Kelsie Stahly. I’m 19 year old and a sophomore at the University of Minnesota. I’m a supply chain management and operations major and I’ve become involved on campus through the Pride of Minnesota Marching Band and the University YMCA college readiness program. I’ve been involved with 4H since 6th grade and have shown horses at the Dallas County fair since then. Showing at the Dallas County fair truly helped build my confidence and 4H has taught me to be a leader in the community and take charge.

The Dallas County fair has been the highlight of my summer for over six years. Being named the Dallas County Fair Queen last summer was such an incredible experience that has allowed me to meet so many wonderful people and given me so many opportunities to become more involved in this amazing community.
